APPEARANCE

Hair: Long, straight hair the color of raven feathers. Stops just past the middle of her back.
Eyes: Chocolate colored hues with a slight almond shape to them.
Height: Five foot four.
Clothes: Usually seen in tight black pants that allow her to move quick and efficiently, black calf length flat boots made of leather topped with a cerulean colored sleeveless corset with black lace etched in butterflies along the mid-drift. Laces in the back. Worn under a short black denim jacket that stops just below the chest, used mostly to hide her blades.

CHARACTERISTICS

Personality: Emiline is a complex soul. Having had to survive through unfavorable means she's learned to close herself to emotion and ignore humanity, for a time. Often times she appears quiet and indifferent to the world, but there are times where she lets her past get in the way and sets her off, her rage, regret and self hatred overruling her logic and rational thoughts. She'll do whatever it takes to survive though struggles to keep her emotions out of the picture.

Brief History: Emi has no recollection of where she's originally from, her family always on the move. It was never clear as to why they never stayed in one place, but eventually whatever they were running from caught up to them. Her parents were murdered while she and her older brother hid away, hearing the battle until the end. Since then they've had to survive on their own, wandering from place to place, stealing for food and sneaking into abandoned buildings.

Unfortunately when she turned sixteen her brother died getting caught by a gang for stealing their supplies and he was killed. Left alone she did whatever it took to survive. That's where Mira came in. She was an older woman who owned a brothel where she happened to come across Emiline who'd stumbled into the dark secrets of the world. Taking her in she allowed Emi to stay as long as she became one of her concubines. It wasn't ideal, but with a roof over her head, food and shelter it was the best she could do.

As time went on she allowed herself to shut down all emotion, to escape outside herself during her 'work'. She knew it was wrong and immoral, but one had to do whatever it took to get by in life. And so for the next few years she did just that. Until the syndicate came.

With the appearance of the gate Emi had begun to show strange abilities, having accidentally killed a client when she'd gotten a fight and he'd cut her, her blood shooting out at him from her rage and fear. Eventually she learned to control it with the syndicate's help and taught her how to use blades.

Out of the brothel she's relied on the assignments given to her to make a living, though she was still a loose cannon, her emotions making it hard for her to get jobs done successfully, having taken awhile to shut herself down completely when out on a mission. Eventually she's come to accept that she is no longer human, but a monster whose only purpose was to do as she was told and nothing else.
